Half-billion-peso STI Academic Center Caloocan opens for students

The STI Academic Center Caloocan had a soft opening this January, and held classes for 3,350 students enrolled for school year 2013-14. The new building is now designed to hold room for more than 9,000 students this coming school year 2014-15 in courses under Information & Communications Technology, Business & Management, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Arts and Sciences, and Engineering.

"The successful completion of our campus in Caloocan reflects our efforts to expand our network, reach more students, and remain competitive. The size of the campus in Caloocan is apt for its strategic location where education will no longer be out of reach for many potential students in the densely populated city,"shares STI President and Chief Executive Officer Monico V. Jacob. "Our newest campus affirms our commitment to be one of the best institutions offering quality education through the improvement of our facilities. This, in turn, increases the value of education that we offer and improves morale and the quality of life for our students," he adds.

The inauguration of the half-billion-peso STI Academic Center Caloocan marks the public introduction of the latest addition to the growing number of operational STI Academic Centers in the country. Ensuing from the successful operations of STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, Alabang, Novaliches, Malolos, and Ortigas-Cainta, STI is continuously investing on the steady growth of number of STI Academic Centers across the country. STI Academic Centers in Calamba, Cubao, and Lucena are currently ongoing construction, and will begin operations within the year.
